Sala Boutique Hotel is located in central Malé, adjacent to the Maldives Parliament. It offers free in-room WiFi, a Thai and Italian restaurant, and non-smoking rooms that combine traditional Asian décor with modern comforts. We very unexpectedly had to find accommodation in Male overnight and we were all so happy with Boutique Hotel Sala. The property was spotless and had been restored as one of only very few properties from old Male. The Thai restaurant was incredible. Mr. Thomas could not have been more helpful, including absolutely delicious coffee at 4.30am and all our travel plans supported.

The air-conditioned villas are elegantly decorated with wooden flooring and furnishings. Enjoying views of the beach or ocean, each is equipped with a cable/satellite TV, Chinese TV channels, hot water showers and a minibar. The villas also come with free toiletries and slippers. Free WiFi is available in the rooms. There is absolutely nothing wrong what I could possibly say about our stay in this resort. We got beautiful beach vila, considering the fact that we have very little kids so the beach and sea just behind our vila was fitting our needs perfectly - to be safe for kids and also just behind it, there was snorkling place for us. Every single person on this island, including both the staff and other tourists, was extremely friendly, smiling since early morning, very helpful. Anytime we requested for something, it was done immediately. I love the outdoor shower, also beds for both kids were very cute and comfortable. We had enough water (4 big bottles) available in our room every day, plus other drinks in mini bar. So we never needed to worry about this or to be going somewhere for more water. Food was absolutely amazing, we stayed 8 days and every single day we saw new meals to try, enough meat, enough fishes, very delicious fruits and cakes, cocktails. We literally didnt spend any extra cash for anything here, even if we had few extra requests. This place is also a picture perfect place, with beautiful sea, more types of beach so every kind of person will find here what he needs. Gardeners are doing excellent job to keep this place so beautiful with arranging all the trees. Our daughter very enjoyed the playground with friendly ladies taking care of kids here. Even the wi-fi was working very well. We bought sim card on the airport but we didnt need to use it, wi-fi is basically everywhere! We had very high expectations, but the product we received is much more than we could imagine. Consindering to come back to this resort in the future again, even if we didn't plan to visit Maldives again due to very long journey. This place is 1000000% worth it. Thank you!

How many hotels are you aware of on Booking.com that has constant score of over 9.3? Yes, me neither - and this is what Boutique Beach hotel managed, and for good reason. From the moment you arrive, you are pampered personally - each and every day. The staff is simply top notch! Helping Mette, who is at your disposal around the clock, Sam whose Cockney accent confuses you because his knowledge of the lagoons and reefs around makes you believe he was born in Indian Ocean, always smiling and funny Saeed, King Kong Chef Shanti whose masterpieces from the kitchen you will enjoy every few hours - just to mention the few… This great experience is wrapped in and around of picturesque island of Dhigurah with its beautiful beaches and breathtaking marine life around. Guys - thank you for the wonderful time!

h78 is an award-winning hotel situated just a stone's throw away from the turquoise blue sea and white sandy beaches of Maldives. We have been recognized for our exceptional customer service for nearly a decade and are one of the oldest hotels in the greater Male' area, offering consistent care and service to our guests. We booked h78 for me to rest before we began a long night flight to Istanbul. We are an elderly couple and I am still using a walker after hip surgery. We only had a few hours at h78 but they were memorable! First, they picked us up at the airport and took us to the hotel without charge. Then, we had not eaten since we began our trip from the Maldives, and our meal at The Catch Restaurant at the hotel was superb. My husband had the best fish and chips he'd ever eaten; a large piece of white fish (tuna was also available), perfectly breaded and fried to a golden hue. I had Tiger prawns, green beans, a salad. Then, because we could only stay for a few hours, they gave us free dessert: ice cream for my husband, and a banana split for me! Our room was small, but efficient. A comfortable bed (which was my priority), a well-equipped bathroom. But let me save the best for last: every member of the staff, those who met us at the airport, in the restaurant and hotel, was extremely kind and helpful. This aspect of travel for us (in our 80s) is really a make-or-break part of the experience. To find people who care for our well-being is essential and they were all there at h78. Also, as we drove through the town, it looked as if it was a lively place, with many restaurants and access to the beach. We do recommend it.

Situated along the coastline of Maafushi, Arena Beach Hotel features modern and tranquil accommodation with free WiFi access in the entire property including rooms. Guests can enjoy water sports activities such as diving, snorkelling and windsurfing on site. I don't have words to describe their quality of service. That were extremely awesome, so professional and hard working staff.

Free WiFi access is available throughout the property including all rooms. This hotel has the best location and the most beautiful ocean view. Staff are able to converse in English and Mandarin Chinese. Crystal Sands staff are very warm, nice and friendly. They are very responsive to all your needs and make sure you are comfortable with your stay.

Somerset Hotel offers rooms in the centre of Male' City and provides free transfers from Velana International Airport, a 15-minute ride away.

All the rooms are equipped with air conditioning. With a city view, the rooms also include a flat-screen TV, minibar, and coffee machine. Slippers and free toiletries are provided in the private bathroom. Some of the rooms have a balcony. Staff and breakfast were excellent. Especially transfer service was fantastic.
