Lovely friendly host. Very comfortable and homely. Transfer to and from the airport was a huge advantage

The host, Christian, was very helpful. Arranged collection from the airport even though it was 11pm and helped me get where I needed to go the next day. Even offered to pick something up from the grocery store as my flight was delayed, which was lovely!

Very easy check in and check out, there were a lot of signs in the property to inform you on how to use things and the expectations of staying at the property. The property was very clean and comfy, it also had a lovely backyard. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook. Host was helpful with information.

Extremely spacious with everything you need to cook and clean, etc. We had an amazing time here. It is a lovely, quiet and clean village. It was about a half hour walk to the port and all the shops. There is also a lovely park down there too with lots of interesting things. There is a supermarket around the corner from the house, which is open every day. We personally found it a little strange to have so many of the owners' personal belongings around but it didn't spoil anything. It was just different but also interesting.

The rooms here are spacious and of a boutique-style done very tastefully. large bathrooms with nice rainfall shower in a glass door wet room style. the hotel rooms were quiet and the communal areas were very comfortable. The hotel restaurant is highly reputable in its own right and the food was excellent. Well above good hotel quality and more like a specialist restaurant! as a consequence, the morning breakfast was also absolutely excellent with a wide range of beautifully prepared breakfast items all of which you’d expect.

Owner was lovely and friendly answered all of our questions over a cup of tea. He picked us up from the airport and took us back early hours of the morning without any complaint . Hallways had automatic lighting. Clean towels and toiletries. Fab value for money

We had an amazing stay at the Lysko Gjestegard. It's perfectly located right next to the beach/harbor in Larvik and is exceptionally well designed. Breakfast was great and beds were comfy. To top off our experience the hostess was incredibly helpful and very professional. We couldn't have had a better stay. This place really has a heart and soul and I recommend this guesthouse to anyone who's staying in Larvik.
