This New "Victorian" cottage built in 2010 to match original house on the front of the property in a quiet location along the Brook Stream, just a 5-minute walk from the centre of Nelson. Free bicycle rentals and free Wi-Fi are included. The owners, Janet and Tim, are wonderful. They've been in business a long time, so have really thought of everything you could need, and have provided it. The space is bright and airy with a private garden and sitting room. Breakfast was excellent - different each day, and I had nice conversations with Janet and Tim each morning. They also provided helpful travel tips, both for exploring Abel Tasman, and for onward travel.

Prince Albert Backpackers is a 5-minute walk from Nelson. It is a 10-minute walk from the bus terminal. It is a 5-minute drive from Trafalgar Park and a 15-minute drive from Nelson Airport. The staff were friendly, the room was excellent and spacious and the food downstairs was delicious! We were there for one night before our 5 day hike and enjoyed having a comfy bed a d room before we took off

There are golf courses, beaches and hiking trails all within 20 km. Room was nice & comfortable & clean. Great view over the pond. Love airplanes. Husbands a private pilot so watching them take off & land was great. Love the architecture of the buildings.
