The property is 4 hours from Auckland. Mike is a great host and very helpful. The room was clean, spacious with a spectacular view over the bay. Not to mention the delightful breakfast prepared by Mike. We loved the staying here very much and would highly recommend this place to our friends.

Allegra House is located up a hill from the centre of Paihia, where you will find a range of shops, restaurants and the beach.

All rooms at Allegra House have spectacular sea views and space to sit outside. Air-conditioning, a TV, refrigerator, tea/coffee making facilities and free WiFi are provided. Each room has an en suite bathroom with a shower. A commanding location with superb views. So wonderful to wake to such an amazing panorama. Brita and Heinz are exemplary hosts and are very welcoming and friendly. The room, bed, bathroom and shower are of the highest standard and perfectly presented. Breakfast was magnificent and served on the deck with more of those stunning views of the Bay.

He helped us with local knowledge and planning our forward travel and day trips.

Shared laundry, but we arrived just in time to get a load done. Our apartment actually looked better than the photos, the kitchen was functional with enough equipment to make a little dinner. We had a spa bath, which we didn't have time to use, but loved that towel warmer. We found a classical music station on the TV! It's nice they provide real milk for your coffee or for hot chocolate with your cookies.

These north-facing apartments feature beautiful sea views looking out across the Bay of Islands. All units have heating and TV. All units are fully self-contained and include cooking facilities. Free WiFi is included. We expected, based on previous reviews, that the apartment would be exceptionally well-appointed, with a great view from the living and bedrooms and that the owners have left no stone unturned in creating and maintaining a superior lodging experience. Our expectations were shattered.. Abri is in a class of it's own! My recommendation to anyone considering a stay in Paihia-- look no further and book here! Additionally, we had a luggage issue prior to arrival that the owner took care of for us while we were on a tour. Words simply cannot do justice to Abri... it is simply the best.

The retreat is 3 minutes’ drive from Flagstaff Hill Historic Reserve and Long Beach. It is 4 minutes’ drive from both Russell Museum and Russell Village. The accommodation was clean and well maintained. A great location and accessible to the beach etc.

Private indoor and outdoor seating is provided. Most have an iPod docking station, and some have private access into the sun-filled gardens. The cottage we stayed in was wonderful. Lionel and Rob friendly, gracious, and professional hosts. A really great experience and we were very impressed by the overall quality of their hospitality. Sad we couldn't stay longer. The bed in our cottage was very comfortable.
