Offering free and unlimited use of the wellness and spa centre and the gym, Hotel Moskva is housed in an Empire-style building considered a local landmark. Ideally set on Belgrade’s main street, it offers an a la carte restaurant and the well-known pastry shop. Elegantly decorated rooms feature air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. The staff were extremely polite and efficient, especially at reception. I requested a room with a nice view and I couldn't be happier with an airy and spacious room facing the main avenue and sights, still very quiet. Breakfast was excellent, with so many options, including elaborate hot dishes, and a pianist completed the experience in the beautifully decorated restaurant. I used the spa and was also very satisfied with the facilities and service. Keep in mind that this is an old historic building, which used to be the "Palace of Russia", but the rooms and facilities have been updated to modern standards, which includes smart TVs and high-speed internet in public areas and in the bedroom. Still, the building and decorations still reflect a classic "Russian Palace" feel. It is well located, right in the central area with restaurants, shops and attractions within walking distance. It was my first visit to Belgrade but I hope to visit again and Moskva Hotel will be my only choice.

Located in the very centre of Belgrade, Hotel Argo was fully renovated in 2013 and overlooks the Beograđanka Palace. It offers modernly furnished rooms with a free Wi-Fi access. Knez Mihailova shopping street is 800 metres away. We stayed here for 3 nights as a couple. Hotel was located nice and safe. Breakfast was good with multiple options. Best part was staff. They were kind, helpful and always smiling.
