Small, intimate and quiet - away from the big, loud resorts. We loved this place so much we extended our stay by 2 more nights! Bungalows are spacious and cleaned every day. Resort provides 3 waterbottles every day (2 cold and 1 for making tea/coffee) which was very nice! Nice patio to sit on during evenings. The staff will light mosquito repellent on your patio every evening so you can sit outside without problem. Resort has a private beach - not maybe the best for swimming because of the rocks, but definitely beautiful and serene. Sai Kaew beach is only a few minutes walk away, so if you want sandy beach you can get there very quickly. 100% recommend this resort if you want peace and quite and a comfortable stay!

For extra convenience, there is a 24-hour front desk. Staffs’ service mind to help support our group during Qingming visit. They went extra mile to accommodate all our requests i.e. food preparations in the morning and heating up when we were back from the visit with late check out to 12.30 pm for freshen up/ taken bath. Great roomy facilities with digital TV and great water pressure and A/C system that can fought with hot and humid weather. Overall pleasant stay and would be back again and again.

Makmai Villa (Rayong) is a 10-minute drive from Baan Pae and the piers where guests can take a ferry to visit Samed Island. It is within a 30-minute drive from Lamthong Shopping Mall and Central Plaza Rayong. The villa is about a 3-hour drive from Bangkok City. The owner was very friendly and helpful.
