Very friendly staff who provided good recommendations for local places to eat. The room was very spacious and the decor is wonderful selected with support from local artisans. The rooftop was an added bonus despite the poor weather we experienced during our stay. The location was also very convenient within the Medina and had easy (for Tunisia) parking nearby.

Dar Fatma is a traditional Arabian house, which has been transformed into a boutique-style retreat. The air-conditioned rooms are set around the picturesque courtyard and each comes with a private bathroom and a TV. Overall, the experience was exceptional. The hotel is a quaint repurposed house (Dar), with very friendly staff with whom we could communicate smoothly despite a language barrier. They were very cooperative and helpful. Perfect location to experience the lanes of Sidi Bou Said and its markets. The terrace is lovely and being located on top of the hill is open on three sides to the sea; evenings are especially beautiful with the sea breeze to just lounge around (on the terrace).
