I often stay at Tie Dao when in Tainan because it's very affordable and it's just 100 meters from the main station. The rooms are dark and old, but they are clean. The Wi-Fi works well, they provide basic toiletries, there's a desk to use one's laptop. Recently, the hotel is investing to improve: they changed the design of the lobby, they hired young and extremely nice English-speaking staff, they added vending machines.

Great design of room and nice staff

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here especially captivated by the exquisite design of the room. The attention to detail and tasteful decor created a luxurious and comfortable atmosphere, making my experience truly memorable. The thoughtful design of the toilet ,bathtub and mini fridge added a touch of sophistication, enhancing the overall comfort of my stay. Highly recommend for those who appreciate a well-designed and stylish accommodation. We truly appreciate the assistant of the staff in helping us to send all the lugggae to our room

Everything in this hotel is to perfection! We loved the design, the public area library (even a great selection of books), the room, very helpful and nice staff. Guests could borrow vinyls from the reception to play in their rooms. All the details are so aligned and stylish. Location is great too-- a few min of walk for sightseeing and food. Breakfast is amazing. We had options to choose the main while enjoying the breakfast buffet! We will definitely come back!

Front desk and service staffs are super friendly and helpful! It’s like a design hotel with books and design magazines of both food, travel etc. nice cozy hotel nestled amidst the old point part of Tainan. Immediate proximity to cafes, eateries, mall and blueprint creative. Very walkable. Always looking forward to having the breakfast at the hotel. It’s pretty good! There’s a common hangout lounge in the 3rd level where you can make your own tea and coffee at the generous kitchen counter! can even bake!
