Located in the heart of Waikiki, 2 minutes' walk to Waikiki Beach, Halepuna Waikiki is a luxury boutique hotel surrounded by shopping and dining. The property was designed by internationally acclaimed interior design firm, Champalimaud and features works of several Hawaiian artists in partnership with The Honolulu Museum of Art public art program. It was a superb experience at Halepuna. We enjoyed all the moments that we were at this hotel. All the people were highly professional, courteous, and helpful. They organized and provided guidance about all our requests. Our room was tidied up every day, and all of the amenities were replenished. We enjoyed the morning coffee and cake at breakfast time. The infinity pool was a good add-on. We also used the sister hotel's restaurant, bar, and surf course. The only thing left to you is to enjoy your stay and relax.

My wife and I love the place. It's like staying in a Lord of Rings setting, surrounded by giant trees and lush plants. Close to Volcano National Park, you can make a trip to the park early in the morning or in the evening without worrying about the time you have to spend on the road. The cottage is small but cozy, with working fireplace and bed warmers. The room has a special design with interesting details. Two pieces of wooden carvings are nicely decorated in the room. The bedroom has a small dome, and a glass roof above the bed, and we enjoyed gazing through it at the sky and clouds, telling ourselves we can relax and there is no need to hurry to the next destination. Staff are very friendly, esp. Kalei, who gave us good advice for exploring the nearby spots. They provide freshly grounded coffee everyday and that's also adding a great touch to their hospitality. Breakfast is also great, though we had it as a light dinner sometimes.

All guest rooms include a luxurious en suite bathroom with plush bathrobes, premium toiletries, marble vanities, deep soaking tub and a separate glassed-in shower. A flat-screen TV is also provided. Beautiful well located hotel that is in a quiet oceanside area. Rooms were cosy with a remarkable 'auto' toilet . Buffet breakfast was filling with good choice although same everyday. Quite expensive given the $US currently, but worth it for the calm and inviting environment.
