Lahic and the area are an exceptional place.
Lahic and the area are an exceptional place. Except for a single touristy street, the rest of the (small) town is beautiful, original, friendly, and ancient. Even for high Azerbaijani standards, people are very hospitable and friendly. It is also a great starting point for day hikes and longer hikes.DanielCzech Republic - 10Scored 10

Pleasant small town, with lots of stalls to buy cheap tea, good walks in beautiful surroundings. Busy with Azeri day trippers but we would reccomend staying in the town- it can take a while to reach on public transport from baku so at least 2 nights.

A place where time has nearly stood still, within easy reach...
A place where time has nearly stood still, within easy reach of Baku - but makes you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. We were visiting Baku for the Grand Prix - and hired a car for an easy couple of day add-on to the weekend. highly recommended.
