Nice, old pittoresk town, very near Hamburg.
Nice, old pittoresk town, very near Hamburg. The 'gateway' to the Altes Land, Europe's largest fruit farming area. Lots of bars, ice cream parlors, restaurants. Good shopping area downtown, with lots of parking and enjoyable pedestrian area. Great for families, relaxing, shopping, running and cycling (hardly any hills), dog walking, picture taking...Car ride to Hamburg just about 30min; by train a bit longer.

Although the reception is not 24h, the staff left our keys inside a locked front box and had coordinated with us the instructions for our late arrival
