As the city that brought paella to the world, Valencia is a culinary delight. Sipping fresh, local orange juice, whilst enjoying tasty tapas in a pavement café, is not to be missed.
Wandering this relaxed city is like taking a walk through history. From the Roman remains in the archaeological museum to the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences, the architecture ranges from the dramatic to the sublime. A mix of styles from the outside, medieval Valencia Cathedral comes into its own inside. The gilt carvings and vibrantly-painted dome are a sight to behold.
The greatest triumph of city planning is the Turia River Park. Created on the bed of a redirected river, it provides much-needed shade in a city with an impressive sunshine record. Of course, you can always cool down on the fantastic beaches, lapped by warm Mediterranean waters.
Former hosts of the European Grand Prix, Valencians take their sport seriously and so they should. Try to take in a match at the 75000-seater Valencia FC stadium to experience the electric atmosphere.
As Spain’s 3rd largest city, Valencia has wild nightlife, so if that’s your cup of tea, city centre hostels are a great choice. Alternatively, Booking.com also offers guest houses, central apartments and even hotels near Valencia Airport.

Small city which isn't too crowded in March, and all the sightseeing places are within walking distance. Great transport system as well but if you are staying for a few days, make sure you get a SUMA card for 6 Euros with 2 Euros the cost of the card (travelling in Zone A), which can be shared among 2/3 people (just make sure to tap for each person travelling with you) - and look for the Tobacs shop for topping up the SUMA card.

Valencia is a very pleasant city, with friendly people and lots of interesting places to visit. It has also a perfect size (around 790,000 inhabitants) and easy to get around on public transport, on foot or by bike.

What a beautiful city and so clean.
What a beautiful city and so clean. The people warm & welcoming and the green spaces in the old river bed were amazing as well the parks we visited in various other parts of Valencia.
The modern architecture of the arts/aquarium/exhibition centre were truly gorgeous, the fact everything is within an easy cycle or walk makes for great days out exploring :)

Enjoyed seeing the beautiful costumes and ninots.
Enjoyed seeing the beautiful costumes and ninots. However very noisy and streets were dirty and smelly.Littered with rubbish and broken glass.
Many shops and attractions closed because of the festival.
Hard to sleep at night because of noise.
Paella course was excellent and the highlight of our week.
Taxis reasonable and plentiful .However centre closed to traffic due to festival.
Red bus tour was a waste of money as because roads closed its route was different and information system wouldn’t work properly. We were not informed about this till part way through our trip.
Wouldn’t go back when the Fallas is on .

The week before the Fallas the town is preparing with the Mescleta, fireworks and the building of the wagons (on the streets). It is busy and noisy - Spanish people like to use firecrackers. The touristic visit was a little bit influenced by alterations in bus connections and blocked roads, slight changes in opening hours. But we had enough time to see a lot of the highlights - the Catedral, climbing the Miguelete tower (207 steps), museum of fine arts, the Church of Saint-Nicolas (also named the Sixtin chapel of Spain) the Calatrava buildings, Oceanografic (with fantastic delphin show), the playas, the Museu Fallero, the Ceramic museum, shopping, excellent food. We did over 65,000 steps. Still so much more to do...
We loved the location right on the beach. The staff were very firendly and helpful. The apartment had its own entrance separate from the hotel and was quiet altogether. There was a lift which was great use. The apartment was spacious for 3 adults with great utilities: fridge freezer, washing machine-dryer, and coffee machine we used. There was also a dishwasher. Plus TV
The location really made it for us- also close to a local food shop, the bus and tram stops, and restaurants along the beach. Couldn't be better for what we wanted!
Hotel was beautifully modern and air conditioned, rooms were very clean and the cleaning staff were incredibly polite and hardworking. Staff were very accomodating. Views from the rooms were wonderful - black out curtains were amazing - we've never slept so well. Location was OK - very close to a supermarket and some restaurants, a little out of the way but the local transport was cheap and easy to use and the metro stop was literally outside the hotel.
Hotel Kramer thought of everything including a toothbrush. They had an on-site restaurant and the best breakfast we’ve had in Spain. The staff were friendly, and met requests within seconds including printing train tickets, and arranging an early morning cab. The staff spoke excellent English which was welcome( 3 months of Duo Lingo has its limits). The location was within walking distance of the Old City and all the sights we wanted to see
We love this place. Our favorite family hotel and we are in Valencia all the time. So if we can we always stay here and we stayed here probably like 50 times at least so far. Love that breakfast is included, hot chocolate or coffee at any time for free, Saler is only like 1 km away what is a beautiful walk and there is our favorite area where we spend msot time too City of Arts and Science. Also there is McDonald's across the street.
This is a lovely hotel in a great location, right on the beach and close to the city centre. We only stayed one night before joining a cruise, but the room was great and the staff were super welcoming and friendly, they all spoke perfect english. We ate in the hotel restuarant in the evening and our meal was excellent, cannot fault this place and will definitely return!
Excellent wee boutique Hotel at the edge of Old Town and within walking distance of the sights, bars & restaurants. Tapas served in rooftop Terrace & was good value for money. Bar Staff had excellent customer service qualities. Beautiful view from rooftop Terrace. Hotel quirky and spotless & good value for money paid. Taxi ranks and bus stops close by.
The breakfast was good. The location was good, very close to the old city. Cozy and clean rooms and friendly staff. Especially the host named “Nuno” he helped me when I lost my credit card at an atm and let me use his phone to call my bank since my phone did not work during my trip to Spain. He was very friendly and helpful. Thank you Nuno.
Wonderful boutique hotel with beautifully light neutral rooms and exceptionally comfortable beds.
Wonderful views and great toiletries. Superbe breakfast and a reception that could not have been more welcoming and helpful. A stroll to all the old town has to offer and a short walk to uber cool Russafa.
Highly recommended.
Proximity to the beach - the hotel is basically on the beach and the restaurant has a great view. The breakfast was nice too (especially fresh squeezed juices), although a bit small. The staff was nice and helpful and the hotel is beautifully designed and clean. Also the water pressure in the shower was very good
This apartment is by far the most beautiful place I stayed on my trip to Spain. It is amazing! I wish I could have stayed longer at this location. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely stay at this location again in the future. Plus, the value was phenomenal. Stay here if you are going to Valencia!!!
Very clean and cozy hotel in the heart of Valencia. For us it was the perfect place to start exploring the city. The room was very clean, big and cozy, the breakfast was great, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything we needed was nearby: shops, restaurants, transport and main attractions.
In the middle of old town, you have bus and metro station very close to hotel to go on the beach or Museum of Arts and Science.
Rodrigo, the receptionist, was so helpful and polite. The room is comfort, bath also. The terrace is beautiful.
The hotel is better than I expected as 2 star hotel.
Decent size room and bathroom. Quite. Clean. Good breakfast. Helpful staff. Easy to get to the hotel by car.
Good location, The Arts and Sciences centers are a 5 min walk . you can get by bus to downtown. Bus stop in front of the hotel (another option taxi, taxi is cheap there).
It was central with a parking garage. We were traveling through Spain and were able to see some of Valencia, due to its ideal location.
The Suite we booked was very reasonably priced, accommodating and clean. The breakfast was also very good. 5 stars
The hotel is small and friendly. Breakfast is excellent. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, and well-appointed. The location is excellent for public transport as well as a taxi rank, and is right on the beach.
Very new, well designed and comfortable boutique style hotel. Excellent aircon, beautiful and spacious room. All the reception staff were friendly and helpful. Location in the Old Town was superb.
Hotel was of a really high quality. The staff were always friendly and our room was cleaned twice a day. Pool area was very nice and good number of beds. Location is right on the beach.
