the road to the ski resort was bumpy and no enough road signs, but the hotel was really helpful at so many things, they did all the could to provide us our needs, especially with the sudden antibiotics medication for my child and the steel for the tires, since our car is not snow proof. Although the ski season is not yet opened, but the scenery was really good after the snow fell. The hotel could improve the pillow and also do something about the barking dogs at night. Overall, the hotel location for the ski site and cable car is perfect. I really recommend this hotel.

Khulo is a good midpoint for those driving trans-Ajara, starting at Batumi towards Akhaltsikhe (Rabat fortress).
Don't expect to find open restaraunts at Sunday (as of August).
The road to Khulo is asphalt. Khulo-Goderdzi is a lousy road, I advise to enter with high vehicle only. Goderdzi-Zarzme is a little easier. After Zarzme you'll have decent asphalt again.
