Loved the sand beach
The hotel I stayed in had the most caring and lovely staff
They made my stay a really comfortable and pleasant experience
I highly recommend hotel kidobani to everyone
It’s a 2 min walk to the beach
The smell of the grass and the wet mud after the rain took me back to my childhood days
Exfoliating my skin with the black sand made my skin really smooth to touch
I recommend doing this when you’re visiting the beach
It’s a really small town so it’s easy to get around
The locals are very friendly too
I do advise to carry hard cash with you
There aren’t any banks or atm machines there

It is an ugly place with dirty beaches.
It is an ugly place with dirty beaches. The city does not suggest you anything more. I know that there are people who go there for sand beaches, anyway, they were so dirty that it is difficult to enjoy. Have been there for 4 days, will never go again.

Sandy beaches are few in Georgia, as I am told.
Sandy beaches are few in Georgia, as I am told. Ureki boasts "magnetic sand," a supposed cure for all kinds of maladies. Unfortunately, the old infrastructure, narrow road, lack of parking and sidewalks, as well as litter makes things feel a little not taken care of.
Our children loved playing in the sand, swimming in the shallow sea, and enjoying time away from city-life. Lifeguards on patrol added to the feeling that it was a safe place.

Ureki beach is very very dirty and careless.
Ureki beach is very very dirty and careless. I will never recommend Ureki
especially to those who have little kids to take there for the purpose of sand baths. There is high probability of getting the serious inspection to your kids. That's what happened to me.

Ureki is extremely busy and crowded with tourists in summer.
Ureki is extremely busy and crowded with tourists in summer. Unfortunately, this leaves the beach and water very dirty. Local tourists love it for the supposedly healing properties of magnetic black sand. The town is very tacky and everything is made for cheap tourism. No culture or even esthetics to a place. You’re better off going to some smaller place nearby. Restaurants are better and cheaper on the third street from the beach. Camping ground is right in the middle of the town, so not much nature.
This family-run hotel is steps away from beach but faces the main street where restaurants are located. The building is older, but it is fully equipped with a fridge, wardrobe, and table with chairs. The pictures are a good representation of how the rooms look like. We would definitely come back here because of the warm hotel owners. Narobi and Irakli (father and son) are so friendly and helpful, they made us feel like we were at home. If you are looking for a good value stay and don't mind homey furniture this place would be it!
For 35 years of international travels i had never experienced the case when hotel refused to honor existing booking. When we came after driving by taxi 2 hours in 34 degrees heat the owner of the place told us that there were no rooms available and there was a ''mistake'' in a booking system. This hotel refused even compensate a taxi fair for us there and back. Do not book this property even despite very attractive rate, because your booking will not be guaranteed by anything. Total shame, greed and unprofessional behavior.
The food is amazing! the surrounding area is clean, with local stores in walking distance. hotel has two dogs, that will welcome you and act like they are keeping you safe.
we asked for pretty much every extra thing during pur stay, the staff did not hesitate to fulfill all our wishes and to make us feel even better, have offered us a very nice georgian wine.
its overall a very nice place to stay with family.
The best family hotel with lovely owners, where you can spend time in summer. you need only 5 minutes to walk to the sea and its about 10 minutes walk to the children's park where is a various entertainment machines for children.
the rooms are comfortable and quiet with a beautiful view. I will definitely visit again next time, I 100% recommend it.
Best hotel in Ureki for sure with its own territory and outdoor pool. Very cozy and comfortable with best restaurant in town. Staff and owners are extremely friendly and helpful, best regards to Nicolas! We rented 1 of the few houses, fantastic option for families with kids!
Nice simple little hotel with good location. About 5-7min walk to the beach. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean.
Ureki beach has clear blue water and black sand. But there were no toilets and there was no place to change clothes.
First of all the staff was friendly. The beach wasn’t too far from the hotel maybe around 5-7 minutes. And ofc everything was clean. If you’re going to Ureki i do recommend this hotel for sure especially when it’s value for the money.
Compared to the price, it is a very good hotel, it has its own pool where 5 people can swim freely, the rooms have air conditioning, it is always good when there is breakfast included and also there is very good and friendly staff
The hotel is very nice and not far from the beach. The owner is very kind and always willing to help. We enjoy our stay with the whole family. The only thing we were missing was a hotel kitchen, which was closed due to covid.
A nice modern apartment with swimming pool access. Well equipped kitchen. Big parking area. Quiet surroundings. Nikora- shop is on the way to the sea as lots of local veggie markets. Free transfer from Ureki railway station.
Breakfast was excellent. Our room was clean and very cozy. The hotel has a very good location with a beautiful view. The staff is friendly and helpful.
