Zebegeny, is a beautiful little village , pretty much un touched by time, set on the banks of the Danube. Adequate facilities, a few nice shops/bars, glorious hilly countryside, lots of tracks for walking, and cycling. Peace, beauty, and tranquility, like going back in time, and only an hour from Budapest on the train

We were only in Zebegènyi for a short time, but the location is prime and there's a beautiful viewpoint behind the accommodation, especially with sunset. If you want to make a trip to Budapest, i recommend is as well with a train station almost behind the door. The cottage is very characteristic and equipped with all facilities, especially if you're a bit adventurous, this is a top-notch stay. The hostess and host are also very friendly!RobinNetherlands

From the station you can walk as the town is very small. If you want to travel solo or as a couple for a nice getaway, this is an excellent spot to do so.OtávioHungary
