Aru is village of 75 permanant families.

Aru is village of 75 permanant families. They are living off farming and mostly tourism. During the daytime 100s of mostly Indian tourists come to the village a park on one end. But if you walk off in any direction of the valleys you enter stunningly beautiful and lonely nature - Cristal clear streams, meadows full of flowers, forests and snow caped mountains wait for you! Aru has quite a few shops and restaurants - Indian, Kashmiri and one cute cafe that serves some delicious and inexpensive Western food as well.
