Great offbeat destination for a perfect weekend getaway. If you want to chill and relax it's the perfect place. Great view of snow clad mountains from surkanda devi temple which was nearby. Water sports were also available at Tehri dam which approx 20-25 mins from the stay. Overall a good experience.

Visited Darbar with my husband for a staycation and loved every bit of our short stay here. Nestled amongst the forest, Darbar is a peaceful stay with a stunning view of the mountains. Their in house cafe, Guldaar, offers a variety of delicious and very fresh food. Will be back here soon and stay longer than one night for sure.

Rameshji, Chef Biswasji and Gauravji were extremely hospitable and served delicious Pahadi food cooked specially upon my request. The cottages are kept clean, with provision of additional blankets. Each cottage with its attached verandah is with a beautiful mountain view as the cottages are placed at different levels. The location is amidst a forested park and the early morning walk amidst the trails is enjoyable. There are gazebos at a few places along the trail where one can relax.
