Nice place but very hot and humid atmosphere due to sea shore. Best suitable in winter. Lot of good hotels around provides genuine maharashtrisn cuisine like famous dish of Ganapati bappa i. e. traditional modak. Worth trying local dishes than trying regular options like idli sambar, dosa etc.

The Ganpatipule beach was exceptional.
The Ganpatipule beach was exceptional. Additionally there were other sightseeing spots which were exceptional like PRACHIN KOKAM and Magic Garden. Further Bhandarpule beach was nearest to the property. if anyone likes a secluded beach, it is the best. UNEXPLORED.

We just stayed at the resort, didn't feel like going out,...
We just stayed at the resort, didn't feel like going out, except for lunch one day. Malgund beach was clean, sand was white with patches of black. Water was greenish blue, which is rare to find in India. Reaching Ganapatipule from Mumbai by the coastal road was beautiful. We came back via NH17, which was long and tiring. I like the scenic veiw and sea shore in front of Ganesh...
I like the scenic veiw and sea shore in front of Ganesh temple. One can visit Prachin Kokan which is just 15-20 min walking distance from ganpati pule market area.(Avoid rickshaw if not having small childrens) This is theme park based on old lifestyle of Konkani people. Best thing is they provide guide compulsorily with visitors. They charge fees of Rs 40/- per person and Rs 20/- for Camera. Auto rickshaw charge Rs 40/- for distance of less than half km which i feel is waste of money.
