Koynanagar is an off beat location. But, it is great value for money for the traveller who wishes to enjoy nature. There are many places worth seeing and trekking of course for the young at heart is great fun.RAVI - 10Scored 10

This place is pretty offbeat and now I am wondering why i never visited this place. best time to visit is during monsoons or probably just after it I feel as entire belt turns into green area. Winters can also be a good option considering many properties here are situated in hills. Peaceful and lovely. Go for long walks in villages, mingle with the locals and just reenergize your batteries.

The great lake was the best.
The great lake was the best. Roaming around was a good experience. Road around the lake was good. A garden (Nehru garden) was also there which is well maintained. We ate all the times in Koyna Lake Resort where we stayed.

Water falls on the road from Koyananagar to Navaje are worth...
Water falls on the road from Koyananagar to Navaje are worth visiting during monsoon. You have to climb the hill for 20 minutes for the best fall at Ozarde. All along the road Koyana dam is visible. The hills are lush green and water is rushing down all along.
