Ramgarh was a complete surprise with amazing views of Nanda devi & Trishul peaks. Close proximity to Mukteshwar, Kainchi Dham, Nainital, Bhimtal and Tungnath. Good boutique cafes, resorts & amazing homestays.

When you go to Ramgarh in Uttarakhand, it is best to explore...
When you go to Ramgarh in Uttarakhand, it is best to explore the places nearby and the local market, quite restaurants and walks. No need to rush to other places, as you are already in the middle of the Greens and the hills. Local market caters to your needs. Ramgarh is not so crowded as other popular places around. I would definitely avoid going to Mukteshwar next time.

Ramgarh, is a small village in the Nainital district away from the loud tourists. Every corner has a view. Ramgarh is divided into 2 halves - Malla and Talla. Malla is where all the good hotels/ homestays are ! Talla seems like inhabited by thr locals and it's below in the valley near the river. It's a nice 6 km hike between the 2 places but beautiful at every point. Connectivity by Road is good if you have the time and patience :) Cheers.

Best to visit in off-season, as its REALLY quiet, peaceful and you can enjoy maximum. There's not much to do IN Ramgarh, except relax and be amongst nature. There is a lot to do if you like hiking & trekking. Recommend to stay at CLIFF HOUSE. Ample natural light, and great views. Second best would be THE WRITER's BUNGALOW. The Staff is extremely helpful & the food served by the Hotel is wonderful.

Ramgarh is a small village ahead of Nainital. There is very little to do in terms of touristy activities and that is its charm. In case you miss the touristy stuff, Nainital is only an hour away. You could also head to Mukteshwar (45 min) for adventure camps/sports. Within Ramgarh, books and nature are your best companions. Go for leisurely walks or walk/drive down the valley and sit next to the river. You can also listed to birds chirping or if you are up for it, try and spot them. Thrushes, Mynas, Doves, Jays are aplenty.

We stayed at Cedar Lodge for 4 nights. The location is beautiful and the property is neat and clean. The staff was courteous and prompt in providing the required services. Mr Deepak (hotel manager) and Mr Lalit (Chef) went out of the way to make our stay more comfortable and memorable. The room size and decor was very good. There is sufficient parking space for 5-6 cars. The garden area was well maintained and the view of the valley is superb. The food was also good. We will surely visit this hotel again. Keep up the good work.

We liked the location of Ramgarh it was peace and tranquil away from the hustle bustle but the food services at neemrana were terrible, the attitude of staff was horrible and food served was cold and for the staff to get rid of service they just didn’t want guests eating at the property shirking from work it was in very very poor taste even though neemrana management apologised for the behaviour and attitude of staff our trip was spoilt

The location is great! The property is located near in a nice little village and away from main road. Nice nature walks around the property, just step out and start your trails. Very calm and quiet place. The views for hills around are beautiful. Great food. Neemrana's hospitality is always outstanding!

In one word. PERFECT. The rooms were heritage yet comfy enough like a 4-star hotel. Hats off to the Chef working there..be it Indian cuisine be it continental, the chef is masterclass. The sitting areas, view, experience.. Loved each n every thing about the stay.
