Myself and my wife went Straight for the darsan of the deity which we had nicely. Also the hotel fellow arranged a priest for darsan whose charge was reasonable. The place is safe to roam around even at night. We would love to visit there again.

Ok not value for money. No room service. Old and useful bed sheets. Blankets were terrible. No operational swimming pool. Unhygienic rooms unhealthy breakfast only oily poori and sabji full of water and few pieces of potato. Better to stay away from this. May banquet fine for marriage booking. If you are believer of "Ma Tara" then you can go there and...
If you are believer of "Ma Tara" then you can go there and visit the temple and worship. Otherwise there not much to see. You can go to other temples as well. but in Tarapith there nothing else. Also, there is Masanjor Dam and Barkeshar Power plant which you can go for making Tarapith your base as you will not find good accommodation(may vary person to person) in those places.

তারাপীঠ আমার প্রিয়স্থান কিন্তু আমাদের বুকিং ডট কম এ যে হোটেলটা আমাদের বুকিং করার সময় দেখানো হয়েছিল বাস্তবে সেটা ছিলনা, সেই জন্য আমার পরিবার নিয়ে থাকতে সমসসা হয়েছে তবে পিন্টু নামে একটা ছেলে আছে সে এই হোটেলে কাজ করে তার ব্যাবহার খুব ভালো লেগেছে আমার পরিবারের ও আমার।

Everything is fine. But if u r going for the Temple Puja do your research and always be on alert within the Temple premises and yes pray to the Goddess "Tara Ma" that you come out unscathed after the unnecessary jostling within the Temple premises after the Darshan Please brush up on your negotiation skills for the Puja Dakshina but whatever you donate for the Goddess "Tara Ma" do it with all your Love and Respect.
