It's a nice place. Historical, fantastic temples and churches. It's getting difficult to get genuine Kerala food. The place is now festering with all kinds of weird Arabian food which invariably starts with Al-. I couldn't stay at Trissur due to miss-management of Booking.com. Instead of enjoying the trip, me and my friend had to return home without attending the Pooram Festival due to non availability of a room at Trissur.

I had to cancel my trip just because the hotel denied my check in after reaching at location even after confirmation and advance payment. Booking.com could not help me to accommodate in any near by places. Had to rush to book my train tickets on same day and returned with cancelled trip. We are very proud of our beloved THRISSUR, THE CULTURAL CAPITAL of Kerala. The people of Trichur are very kind and straightforward and non cheating also. Taxi, auto drivers are kind enough. Trichur is blessed with SREE VADAKKUMNATHAN, PARAMMEL KAVIL BHAGAVATHY and THIRUVAMBADI KANNAN. I feel sorry for not getting my birth at Thrissur.AAnonymousIndia - 8.0Scored 8.0
Town itself is small enough to walk around the centre.
Town itself is small enough to walk around the centre. Archeological museum is moderately interesting and Our Lady of Dolours Church and tower were very impressive. Bazaar area had lots of atmosphere. Outside the town there are other places- temples, churches, archeological sites and beaches, but need car to reach.

Breakfast cooked to order, no buffet. Excellent omelette and fresh fruits and curd. Breakfast room overlooks amazing stretch of paddy fields. Air con very efficient. Fan silent. Some of the busy roads have under passes which makes crossing the road so much easier. Our room was huge with 2 chairs and a low table. We arrived by train so can’t comment on the parking situation.
