This is an authentic homestay held by very kind people. I had dinner and breakfast; both were excellent. The beach is two steps away. I definitely recommend this place.

Staying here was a great experience! We loved meeting the family who made us feel so welcome. Our train was 12 hours late so we didn't arrive until 9pm and they offered to make us dinner which was delicious! The food here was amazing. The room was good, shower amazing! The best we had in India so far. Their son was really helpful as he translated a lot which was really sweet. We would 100% recommend this place for a couple of nights stay near the beaches in Kochi.

Stepping into Ameya in Kerala is like walking into a paradise. The place is so beautiful that photos just don’t do it justice. Right away, you’re surrounded by lush gardens full of dancing butterflies. It’s so peaceful and beautiful, making every walk through the garden an experience to remember. The whole place feels calm and peaceful, especially with property being on the lake. It’s a perfect spot to relax and feel at ease. When we first got there, we didn’t know what to expect, but it was simply amazing. The rooms and facilities at Ameya are some of the best I’ve ever seen. Everything is well-thought-out with great attention to detail, making our stay super comfortable. The staff are really kind and go above and beyond to help out, providing top-notch service. They really make you feel special. Meeting the owners was a highlight too. They’ve turned what used to be a swamp into this incredible retreat. It’s clear they’ve put a lot of love and effort into making Ameya such a special place. Leaving Ameya was hard. I actually teared up because it’s a place that really stays in your heart. I’m looking forward to coming back one day. If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful place to stay in Kerala, Ameya is perfect. It’s a true paradise that you’ll fall in love with, just like we did.

The place is good to stay if you are looking for a tranquil and serene environment away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Situated amidst the picturesque backwaters of Kerala, it provides a peaceful retreat surrounded by lush greenery and serene waterways. The calm atmosphere, allows for relaxation and rejuvenation. Activities included a free boat ride , fishing on a paddle boat which kids enjoy. We can savor traditional dishes such as , karimeen pollichathu (fish marinated in spices and cooked in banana leaf), Kerala-style curries, and various coconut-based dishes. The breakfast is also very good and the restaurant staff are really amazing. Rooms are cleaned properly and very hardworking staff

Great hosts always there to help but respectful of our space too, great food and 5 minutes walk to a local bar. Very beautiful relaxing location right on the lakeside and very chilled. So much better than the photographs portray. Also put on a 4 hour boat trip for us on request which was excellent with incredible wildlife.

The outside facilities were really good taken care of, like gardening, the boats and cleanness. I really enjoy the swim in the pool. The Resort has itself a beautiful location.
