The location was incredibly convenient. The hotel was beautifully decorated, and the amenities were wonderful especially considering the hotel's size. The staff was helpful and courteous.

The AC did not work, thank God for the ceiling fan in the bedroom. The ceiling fan as you enter the area blew hot air all night. The lights did not work in that area either. I thought I was getting a small fridge but there was no fridge, kettle, iron... nothing. The bathroom was equipped with a toilet paper that was half way through and that was it for that with 2 hotel size bar soaps. Thats all. Behind the bed had an empty skittles wrapper.
Featuring an infinity pool with amazing views over Kingston, Strawberry Hill is set in the Blue Mountains. It offers luxurious accommodation, a spa and an à la carte restaurant.

The view!!!!!! The many nooks for relaxation. The infinity pool. It would have been better if it were heated or there were a jacuzzi on the cool nights

My flight arrived early (April 01) and I reached the hotel by 10:00AM.
Obviously, rooms can't be ready before noon, so I had to stay in the open lobby (as that's the only one they have).
There were mosquitos to keep me busy during the day.
I asked the front desk about 5 times from 12PM to 2PM but still the rooms were not ready.
Right at 2:00PM I came again to the front desk, they took my card and charged it, did their paperwork but still the room was not ready.
Eventually, at 2:34 they handed over the keys to the room.
It’s a very old building with rooms of their own smell. The locker wasn't working. The wardrobe was broken and couldn't be closed properly.
Nice location, quiet and safe. There's a little shop nearby for groceries and a hot meal. Unfortunately, it's a bit of a walk to get to the high street where one can connect with public transport if one does not have a car.
