Toyooka Sky Hotel, hotel in Kinosaki

A short 5-minute walk from JR Toyooka Station, the Toyooka Sky Hotel offers compact yet functional accommodation with free WiFi access.

The room is well kept and clean. Size was large enough to put a 26" luggage on the floor. Room facilities included are typical of Japanese business hotels. Included breakfast is Japanese and is filling! The hotel is about 10 min walk from Toyooka station but there are not many shops/eateries around.

Kobayashiya -Kinosaki Onsen-, hotel in Kinosaki

Newly renovated in 2022, Kobayashiya -Kinosaki Onsen- blends the history and tradition of Japan with the modernity. Guests are welcomed by a luxurious new lobby, decorated in earthen wall.

Wonderful place and people! Everything was great. Arrived at peak sakura blossom and it was among the best places to see it on our trip. Staff recommendations about our walking routes and public baths were also very helpful. English language level of main staff members was high (the best we've met in Japan so far), so it made communication very easy. Adjusted breakfast for our needs and it was excellent both in terms of taste and experience. Will definitely come back again.

城崎温泉 但馬屋-Tajimaya-, hotel in Kinosaki

A 5-minute walk from the Kinosaki Onsen Ropeway, Japanese inn 城崎温泉 但馬屋-Tajimaya- features luxurious accommodation and cuisine, hot spring baths and free Wi-Fi throughout the property.

From the minute we walked in the door we loved it - the subtle scent of incense, the polished but friendly service, the little additional touches that made us feel special - it was perfect. We were looked after for our stay by Maya who couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcomed. The owner introduced herself to us which was a lovely touch and the food was superb - we had the keiseki both nights and the breakfasts and all were delicious. There are three onsen in the hotel, all private and distinct from each other - one outdoors, another dark with lovely mood lighting - and all well looked after and meticulously clean. We honestly couldn’t fault a thing.
