Taking a slow stroll along the lakeside with cooling breeze blowing towards you is refreshing and makes you feel so free. A must visit to Mount Usu taking the cable car and walking along the Ropeway is scenic. A short drive of about 10 minutes from Lake Toya there is a Little Farm that serves very good ice cream, coffee and pizza. Children loves the goats in this farm land.

Beautiful and scenic but you are not allowed to swim in the lake because it is a Unesco site. I was unable to Google this info so I'm sharing it here. It is 90 degrees here today so that sucks. They don't mind you dipping your feet but there are no swimming beaches. You can get wet if you are boating or on SUPboard. I probably would’ve toured another part of the country if I knew I couldn’t swim in the lake in the middle of an extremely hot summer. the south of like Toya is filled with Asian tourists. We enjoyed the quiet north side.

Exceptional room to wake up in every morning, with a full view of Lake Toya. Soaking in the hot bath in the room and enjoying the fireworks nightly is indeed a pleasure. Service staff are helpful and polite, and the meals are sumptuous. Indeed a memorable experience.

    It was nice generally.

It was nice generally. It offers a great view if the weather is clear and not foggy. We were there on 30/12/23 it was winter, weather was cloudy foggy and snowing and we can’t see much. Anyway we enjoy strolling along the lake side with snowfall, feels so peaceful, romantic and beautiful. We went to Mt Usu by using the ropeway. We was at the crater unfortunately it was covered with a thick snow so we didn’t get what we want to see. If I happen to travel to Lake Toya again, I would like to try hiking.

    An amazing scenery.

An amazing scenery. The Lake and its surronding places are worth a visit. There are a few nice hikes and walks to make in this area. The onsen are for sure a highlit and if you planed it right or you are just luky by nature you can see the nightly firework on the lake directly from the onsen.

The owner was waiting for us at the exact time we told him we'll arrive. We got sweets and discount tickets to onsen. I was amazed by that onsen hotel, Infinity rooftop pool, it was fantastic. We had a car, the lake and shops are in a 3 min drive. The hotel is quite old, but everything was good. Clean bed sheets, warm, bright, no smoke smell in the room, silent at night. We were travelling with a 1 year-old toddler, it was safe for her too. There is a loft in the room, we did not use it.

The property, itself, is nice overall. The onsen is well maintained and clean. The restaurant buffet has many good choices for breakfast and dinner. The service is excellent. The room was clean but had an odor that others have mentioned in their reviews. We stayed in the East wing which appears to be the older wing so that may be why. We thought that overall it was a great deal given that breakfast and lunch for two was included each day.

The cabin is quant and well equipped with everything you need. We loved the chair in the living room for reading with the view of Lake Toya and the very cozy blankets. The hosts were great and even dropped off some fresh venison that their neighbors shared with them. It was a great location to walk into town for some lunch and then we were able to cook dinner at home. We loved our stay here

Amazing hotel, super stylish. Huge rooms, all with own rotenburo on the balcony and lake view,too.. In addition a fantastic onsen & rotenburo for all guests. Tattoo friendly, too 😀 Staff was super nice plus they have free shuttle service from/ to JR station. Also they shuttle guests to the fireworks section in Toyako Onsen. The food was exceptional. We enjoyed every minute in this hotel.

Public transport generally isn't great in Japan but we managed to get there from Niseko by bus smoothly and bus stop is outside hotel. Lovely onsen with outdoor area and great pools esp during winter times. Buffet dinner and breakfast had a great variety and there was even a little tea time snack bar provided. We had no need to leave the hotel except to take in other views of the lake.

House has everything you need. Very spacious with big Tv and sofa. Comes with fully equip kitchen. Had washing machine, though there is no dryer machine, it has an automated clothes rack and a clothes heater/warmer for you to dry the clothes naturally. Drive and park right in front of house. There is a nice onsen just abt 3-4 mins walk from the house. Enjoy the stay very much.

Simple, everything you need at your disposal. Tatami mattresses were comfortable. Clean and efficient! Were convenient, close to the train station. Easy to get to Toyakoonsen by bus from here. We hiked to Mt. Usu from here (take the bus to Usu) and took the ropeway down to Toyakoonsen afterwards, were we enjoyed a day spa in an onsen hotel.

Stayed 2 nights here and the staff were realllly nice! Read the reviews about the good food so we had our dinner in the component and it’s truly a delight! Every dish was amazing! The accommodation is huge and had the most amazing view of lake Toya! Everything also had a rustic vibe to it as the whole place is made of wood

While the hotel is lake fronting, our room is unfortunately street-facing. This is a typical tourist-groups hotel with buffet breakfast and dinner and onsen facilities. Room is spacious but it didn't have a luggage rack (we checked and confirmed that with the front desk) and so be prepared to place luggage bags on the floor.

The hotel has a stunning view overlooking lake Toya. Great experience onsen from the rooftop, with beautiful view of sunrise over the icy peak mountains and very clean pool. The fireworks are wonderful, and some music would definitely add grandiose to the experience.

The hotel room we stayed in has a balcony view of Lake Toya, which was very beautiful. Breakfast and dinner buffet was excellent. The staff service are also great, and they even prepare a nice photo of me and my wife in a photoframe, which was heartwarming.
