Nagasaki is a city full of history and charm.
Nagasaki is a city full of history and charm. I love the scenic view of Nagasaki port. People here are very warm and friendly, and it's a city full of nostalgic vibe. Besides that, Nagasaki Prefectural Art Museum has very modern and minimalistic architecture style. I like Champon a lot and have it almost everyday during my stay in Nagasaki.

A beautiful city which has unique history of being exposed to other countries, i.e. China, Netherlands, Portugal / Spain, England while the rest of the country was closed. It is also an important witness and victim of the A-bomb.
Don't forget to enjoy the view from Inasa yama.
Also, it offers various food options - shippoku-ryori can be eaten approximately 4000 per person if it is lunch.
We did not get to go to islands and Shimabara etc this time as well as House tembos....
It is a little hard to access by shinkansen now, but it was worth a visit.

The Night View is one of the best I've ever seen (second only to Hong Kong). We went up on the Rope Way, then discovered there was a Slope Car ascent as well--great for a return trip. The Dejima Wharf was a fantastic place to walk. The food in the restaurants around the city was wonderful. The trolley was fun, too.

A short stay like 2 days & 2 nights should be able to cover all the major attractions in Nagasaki. Booked a hotel that provides onsen as it will be useful after much walking from one attraction to another. Buy the one-day tram pass and plan the number of attractions you can cover within the day or night... Then, have a good dinner at the Nagasaki Dejima Wharf... very good sashimi and must try the Uni Donburi!

A visit to the Atomic centre is important however, not for small kids don't think they should be exposed to this. However, its an incredible experience to see what's there & see the footage of what occurred truly a time to reflect on life.
The shuttle bus service from the hotel to Nagasaki Station is convenient, I left my car in the hotel. The room is large, clean and comfortable.
The attention by the service staffs is great and always smiling. As the room is huge, the switches are all over the room.
As most instructions are in japanese, I could not find the heater controls and the room was cold. A call to the reception and within minutes, a hotel staff was in the room to adjust the room temperature, very quick response. The breakfast was excellent.
The style of this hotel. The way the staff remembers your requests and cares for you. The scent of freshly cut lilies in the lobby. Beautiful spacious room bearing the atmosphere of the golden times it was built in, breathtaking views from the window, which you can open and breathe. And yes, a lifetime amount of fresh Nagasaki biscuits I consumed at a buffet-style dinner. And a big steamy traditional bath at the 3rd floor. And the cozy shuttle-bus to the station down the hill. Highly recommend this hotel.
The hotel is located close to Nagasaki Station and a few public transport options, making it easy for guests to travel around the city. There are also several good eateries in the area, as well as a convenience store located on the ground floor. The free ramen at night and the free ice cream on the top floor were also much appreciated.
The hotel room I stayed in was clean and fairly spacious. The bedding was comfortable and I found the pillows to be ok.
The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was very wide and comfortable. The hotel provided all the necessary amenities, as well as coffee and bottled water, which were both replaced daily. It was conveniently located near Nagasaki Station and multiple bus routes and tram lines, so all the main tourist locations were easily accessible from the hotel. Plus, the price was affordable compared to the other hotels available and it was well worth it.
Been here for 2nd time. Last was 2019 before pandemic. The hotel is as clean as before. As you expect in Japan hotel. The shower is the best.
The location is super good, just in front of train station, bus stop and tram stop, minimarket are in the left and right of the hotel.
We took the breakfast, and find out it was really good with adequate choices and affordable price.
Will recommend this hotel to whoever visit Nagasaki
The services from the staffs are impeccable, and the food for the breakfast buffet is delicious. Spending time in public spa is enjoyable and feel relaxed from the busy work. If you wish to travel Nagasaki and lived in this hotel, please be reminded to check the schedule for the buses because the hotel is not located in the town centre of Nagasaki
Best hotel I have ever been in Japan.
Nice room, big space inside the room, nice shower, new room.
Bags are already in the room when return to checkin at the evening.
Good amenities, free ice cream, free ramen.
Breakfast is nice with lots of variety to select from.
Best of the best!!!!
Good location - a Streetcar stop directly outside the hotel, a short walk to a shopping complex with some cafés, and a 15 minute walk from Nagasaki Station. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are typical for Japanese corporate hotels, which is perfectly fine!
Good service mind. The Smile of reception. Clean and Quiet room. All you can drink and snacks. Beautiful window view. Very good for a couple or family. Nagasaki - styled dinner is great. The breakfast is fantastic.
Hotel can be reached by 10-15 minutes walking or by taking tram from the Nagasaki train station. Shuttle bus service to Inasayama for the famous night view. Rich variety of breakfast dishes.
a nice hotel in an incredible location. the staff could not have been more wonderful. the view from our room, from the public bath, and from the restaurant were absolutely fabulous.
