Lodge Stack Point, hotel in Narusawa

A 15-minute drive from the Fujiten Snow Resort, Lodge Stack Point features free Wi-Fi, karaoke facilities and rooms with bunk beds. Free parking is available on-site.

This lodge is owned by a lovely sweet couple. We felt welcomed and had really genuine interactions with them using google translate to communicate. They recommended an onsen nearby that was exceptional. We also had breakfast both mornings at the lodge and it was very good with generous portions. Everything was perfect!! We recommend this place without hesitation.

An amazingly good public transport system around the mountain. I recommend getting a few day pass and a schedule for the sightseeing bus and using that mainly. The caves were beautiful and clean for tourist attraction. Carry a jacket for them even in summer. The forest, while not pristine, was beautiful. There are several places around the lakes you could spend a couple of days exploring. The weather meant no views of mt Fuji while I was there, but there was too much to do anyway.

    Super quaint and cozy.

Super quaint and cozy. Not much in the area but I like small, unsuspecting places like Narusawa. Now, I'm an International student from America and everyone warned me about being ostracized but the people were really nice to me. I did a 15 mile hike of Aokigahara and missed the last bus. It was a 2 hour walk back but this guy pulled over and offered me a ride home. I was really scared of course but I felt like I could trust him so I took him up on it, and I didn't have to walk to the hotel. If you're reading this thanks again for the ride!
