It's a very beautiful house, all quite new. very cosy to sleep upstairs under the roof :) it smells fantastic wood and the surrounding is so beautiful. close to the river all you hear is nature.... it was one of our favourite stays. the owners are amazing, too. we were even allowed to join a cross fit session and the long exchanges we had about japanese culture were super interesting. our son was amazed to find nice children to play with :) we'd highly recommend :)

Awesome break in isolated beautiful surrounds. Amazing property with ample space and great ambience. Unfortunately it was let down by a couple of details, such as communication with paying for fire wood to use in the advertised fireplaces/cooking grill. Though these were awesome additions to the stay. Stove was troublesome and the owner did not get back to us on how to resolve. Missing basic touches like dust pan for cleaning fires and basic cooking: such as salt, tea, coffee. Especially given the isolation of the location

The family owners were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and filling each day. Our rooms were just big enough to accommodate our crew. So close to the vine bridge, it was an excellent starting point for our adventures.

We were very happy with the hotel. We had both the breakfast and dinner at the hotel and they were well handled with good food and we were satisfied. Staff were friendly and helpful. The bath was good and clean. The hotel is very close to some of the sights and we very much enjoyed staying there.

Location so wonderful, very lush with the sound of the river. Love how the base has been renovated so thoughtfully The two little boys were enchanting, and very happy to sit with us which was very special. Homemade breakfasts were fabulous
