The view is the outstanding attraction to this hotel, but watch out. Saying Ocean view is deceptive. Most rooms have an ocean view but there are two sides with a difference of day and night, Front view facing the inland sea is outstanding. Back view is view of an empty beach, not noteworthy. Make sure you get a room facing the inland sea. View is outstanding. Outside hot spring faces the inland sea and is again outstanding. Room was clean but small. The bathroom was similar to ones you would find in a business hotel. Bath located close to toilet. Staff was polite and friendly.

Tahara is a piece of Japan with an tropical look and they have beaches where you can swim!! You hardly find this kind of beaches in Japan because the most Japanese people don't go to beaches, because they are to shy to show their bodies. If you see them swimming they are almost fully clothed.

Great place to spend some quality time.
Great place to spend some quality time.
Food is local and fresh, the ocean is amazing, you swim ( at coconut beach) or surf ( Akabane) very nice cycling road ( you can run / jog too)
At night not too many things to do, most restaurants close by 8pm but for me is great, I save money, I get plenty of nice sleep and energy so I can enjoy daytime.
