I loved everything about this stay. Very friendly and warm hosts, a really comfortable place overall. Iyo doesn’t have too much in the way of food, but they provided some toast and jam which was really nice of them. I’m especially grateful that they took me around the town when I unfortunately couldn’t make it to Cat Island. Beds were comfy futons.

This place is a dream. The architecture is sublime, every little detail counts, for it is a labor of love. The view in the early morning is magical! It was a great experience to stay in this historic shop house right on the beautiful old street like something out of a movie. If you have trouble with quite steep stairs don't stay here as the bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs. We thought we had gone back in time to the data of the samurai. A very special experience. Unforgettable.
