Really good resort by the beach.
Really good resort by the beach. It is literally a 2 minute walk to the Turtle sanctury where we were lucky enough to see 3 batches of turtles being released to the sea. If we hadn't been so close we probably wouldn't have experienced this. The 2 bedroom villa was perfect for 2 of us. A little tired with very slow wifi so we used 4G. The power would cut out a couple of times during the night, so the air conditioning needed resetting. Massages and food were good value. We were able to put all bills on our tab and pay at the end of the stay which is helpful. Staff very friendly. Private beach with plenty of hammocks. The resort has its own dive school and they organised a day snorkling which was fab.

the place is well situated on the kg juara beach .
the place is well situated on the kg juara beach . Easy access to food stall , The toilet in the chalet need to be improve with a water pump and recycle fan . Every thing is within walking distance , a short walk you already covered the kg . Wifi is available and free.. If you require a peaceful non disturbing resort this the place. .

it's a small village however the walking path need some work...
it's a small village however the walking path need some work and lights in the night. people are friendly and helpful and food is good at most of the small cafe and stalls. need to create more awareness for the turtle sanctuary and the water falls at the area.

A place where everyone is friend an helpful. Beautiful beach—clean and wide. Not too busy as other parts of the island. If you need a place to chill, relax and enjoy the beach at a budget—Kampong Juara is the place

Fantastic beach and bay
Fantastic beach and bay Water quality is pristine blue-green water, warm, clean & awesome for swimming (Bay is a protected 2km length), snorkelling & watersport activities (windsurfing, diving, boating) - there's a resort behing the old jetty renting out Windsurf + classes & advises Beach is really gorgeous, and small village vibe with the lush green jungle on the back Not much to do (no crazy bar or activities) but fanstatic to relax & enjoy a private secluded paradize, and diving ! The locals are all super nice, smiley & friendly There's also a turtle conservation project at the end of the Bay, and if you're in luck you can have turtle nesting eggs right in front of your bungalow ! Definitely recommend for a few days (minimum 3-4 days) to a few weeksgbuzzartFrance - 10Scored 10
This part of the island has a really nice beach.
This part of the island has a really nice beach. It's a large sandy beach with clear waters for swimming. We started on the southern end of the island and it turned out we couldn't swim far out without a lifejacket as it was too rough there, so were pleased we moved here. The other bonus of this beach is that it is quiet however you can walk along the main street and find a few restaurants and mini shops, plus you can hike a few trails in the jungle.GeorginaUnited Kingdom
