The location was great and the venue itself very relaxing and pleasant. Unfortunately the description on Booking.com did not match the reality. I was given a room with a shared bathroom which I never would have booked had I known. The staff admitted that their own description was different from the one on Booking.com. This is quite unacceptable. It's not just that the room did not have its own bathroom, but the 'shared bathroom' was really grim. It was on another floor and required going outside and down some steps to get to. The toilet room was separate from the shower. The toilet itself didn't have a seat and it was full of flies and a thoroughly awful experience. The shower room was incredibly basic. The bed was large, but the sheets were shiny and not pleasant. The pillows were typical of other hotels I have used; hard, foam affairs and completely uncomfortable. I never would have booked this place if I had known of the conditions.
