My recent stay at Hotel 99 was a mix of good and bad feelings. When I arrived, the person who checked me in was a really nice Indian man. He was friendly and made me feel welcome. However, the other staff weren't very friendly. Their attitude made me feel unwelcome. One notable aspect of my experience was the presence of a security guard in the lobby during the night. However, rather than instilling a sense of security, their presence seemed more akin to that of a guest. Their posture and mannerisms conveyed an aura of intimidation, making it difficult to approach them with any questions or concerns. It was disappointing because the nice Indian man's kindness was overshadowed by the unfriendly staff. Overall, everything else about the hotel was okay.
