Very unique place to stay in the middle of the desert. Beautiful rooms and nice pool. We did a fun sunset quad tour for our daughter her birthday. They sang for her at the dinner table. Every night there is a 5 course dinner , first night delicious second night a bit less fancy.

Great stay in the desert. The lodge offers everything you wish for - nice and friendly staff, really good food (the dinner is just wow) and a great view. We booked a tour into sossuvlei at the lodge - that was a great choice. The guide was highly motivated, took us to the best places (also the ones that are not the tourist hotspots) and explained a lot of things about the landscape. Would definitely come back to desert homestead lodge if I will ever be in the area again.
