I recommend to carry cash.
I recommend to carry cash. From the Airport to Anse Boileu taxi will charge you maximum 800 Seychelles Rupees which is around 55USD. There is no taxi service like in most of the countries to catch taxi in the street even in Capital City Victoria. Taxi is on call and 1 trip will cost you min 500 Seychelles Rupees. 100 Seychelles Rupees fee when using ATM. Local bus charges 25 Seychelles Rupees per person. Local shops use card and have mostly all what you need. Road is very narrow and need to be very cautious when driving around. The Seychelles is right side driving country. Water sports quite expensive, for example a Jet ski (1200 Seychelles Rupees 83usd per 30 minutes). Seychelles has lot to offer to visit and explore and view is like in paradise and local community is very friendly.

Anse Louis beach was perfect and right on our doorstep.
Anse Louis beach was perfect and right on our doorstep. Surrounded by stunning tropical scenery. Stunning views. A car is essential to see further afield and visit other beautiful beaches and restaurants. Kapatya was definitely the best restaurant in the area offering a wide choice of curries, pizzas, fish, meat dishes and live music on Saturday. We visited twice. La Gaulette also good for lunch if your visiting the nearby lunches. Lovely fish, pasta, salads.

It's very quiet and very local.
It's very quiet and very local. If you wanna experience the non-touristy Seychelles, this is the place to go. Chez Plume restaurant is probably why I would come back here. The best seafood I've ever had.

The location is in a quiet neighborhood just 5 minutes from the Anse Boileau beach and the bus stop. The dog, which according to the comments was on a leash is now walking freely and seems very happy, but unattended. The woman working for Julie was very nice and helpful. We never really met Julie, she stayed inside and didn't seem to want to get in touch with the guests, which was OK for us.
