The location was amazing, we had a great view on the sea and the forest around the location gave it a quiet atmosphere. The breakfast buffet was extensive and tasty.

Great breakfast with good option to take a basket into the garden and enjoying the nice nature whilst eating. Staff was very attentive and personal and made it a memorable stay.

lots of things to do in this lovely part of Sweden.there's a really nice outdoor swimming area where you have facilities to get changed and have a shower. The town is also very pretty and I can recommend Cafe Flora in particular as the food was excellent there plus if you want to eat a bit more upmarket there's a restaurant called Musselbaren which is superb.there is also a nice walk along the water where you can see all the fantastic houses built in the area when it was known as a spa town

If you and your family want to visit a small community far from big cities, you have a car and are ready to take care of your private space, then this is a place to be. We wanted to relax and just be with each other - perfect for that purpose.

Small but nice and quiet.
Small but nice and quiet. The proximity of supermarkets was useful. Ljungskile or Uddevalla would have been an ideal starting point for a trip to the Vänern lake, but we did that later on from another location a bit further away.
We would have liked to take a few more walks, but could not find any that were waymarked. Our trip to the Sundsby Säteri was nice, though.
Confortable room with kitchen corner but a bit overloaded with decorative objects.
A nice terrace besides the rooms to take a drink with friends when weather permitted (it did).
A good breakfast is brought in the evening and put in the fridge.
Plenty of free parking available.
The very good salmon shop and restaurant (Laxbutiken Ljungskile AB) is just at a 10 min walk.
Very cozy hotel for a quiet stay close to the sea. The hotel is not new but has soul and is well taken care of (in other words it is charmy, and not shabby). Fantastic position if you want to swim or enjoy the sea (this place must be cool in the winter too). More than decent breakfast too.
Super-roomy and well-laid out for being a tiny house. Full kitchen and washing machine. Nice deck for the evenings. Walking distance to Ljungskile. Ulla was a very friendly host.
Peaceful location with great sea bath. Spectacular view and sunsets over the archipelago. Basic hotel facilities, breakfast and rooms. Possible with basic self-catering.
