The people there made us feel welcome, We visited relatives...
The people there made us feel welcome, We visited relatives we never had met. They set up a lunch for us with a Swedish flag and an American Flag on the table, they had history books for us to share with them. We visited the churchyard and they pointed out our ancestors graves. They opened up a shop turned into a museum exclusively for us and showed us so many items of interest. They took us to an outdoor museum to see how the homes were when our ancestors were here. I felt as though I was loved and belonged there. It was very hard to leave.

It was set up about a hundred years ago, so the room are smaller that today's standards, and there is a shared WC (or two) and separate showers. The furnishings are surprisingly fresh, and the whole experience is like an Agathe Christie movie, only, as far as we know, the guests don't just vanish, except by their own chosen mode of departure. The owners even dress in character for the period. The breakfast was great, and there is a nice garden in back to enjoy it in, weather permitting,

The hosts are very discrete and available. The location is quiet and safe, near TORP mall and Uddevalla. Our son really enjoyed playing with the toys available in the house, in the garden there is a sandbox, a hut, a swing and a lot of rum to spring. We liked the surroundings, beautiful nature and near the sea.amaliaSweden

The hotel is locaded just as shown and there is no disturbing outside nice. Everything is very clean and the rooms and bathrooms are larger most compared to rooms of an equivalent level in other hotels. The air is fresh if you wanto to take a stroll or open your windows.
