I ❤️ Mae Salong. The clean crisp air and many local ethnic groups make this a great place to visit
Love staying at Shin Sane GH or Little House GH. Each still offer great prices for cottages and Shin Sane still has the original rooms from wooden house and at a shoestring price for this region
Love eating at Yunnan noodles down the road a bit past 7 Eleven and Salima’s. There’s a pure veg place heading towards the cathothic school nearby.

My Thai friend planned for the trip.
My Thai friend planned for the trip. He works in his own tourists business. He brought us to very special places, no crowded with tourists, interaction with local people. It was a great and real experience.

The view was breath taking, I only wish they would ban burning in Thailand. The Hotel was perfect clean and plenty of hot water and the bed was amazing and at that altitude no need to use the AC or the fan. The breakfast was simple but very good. the staff were great and took care of all our needs. The owner is very nice and sweet and greeted all the guests at breakfast and she makes a heart pumping espresso. All and all this seemed like the best place to stay and it was. Good value for your money.
