The beach is generally quite dirty and it seems that the government/council does not do much about it. This applies to restaurants located right on the shore as well (e.g Sunset Cafe). The main road going around the island carries a lot of traffic, making the beach unbearably loud. It is a shame because Koh Samui has a lot of natural beauty. I wish visitors, locals and the government respected it as much as they do Koh Tao.

Nathon is one of the arrival points to Koh Samui.
Nathon is one of the arrival points to Koh Samui. There is not much to see there, though there are some beaches in the vicinity worth to explore. The food is good and not overpriced compared to Lamai or Chaweng beach. Nathon is small, everyrhing in Town is in walking distance.

Everything was fresh and modern and the pool was amazing. What really made our stay was the kind hospitality service from Renold and Nikki. No breakfast provide but you can walk to the nearest restaurant and get the excellent breakfast. The room is clean and comfortable, very valuable for money!
