It's just not far from Bangkok at all.
It's just not far from Bangkok at all. About 1 hour plus to travel. We stopped at Samut Sonkhram railway market where the train track run in the middle of the market. Store sellers take their shades/umbrella down each time train comes pass. Interesting way of living of the locals.

The restaurant (breakfast area) faces the river. The bungalows and the rooms were clean and well-designed. We had a very good breakfast with a variety of options. I was amazed by the fresh taste of the shrimp. The hotel is approximately 1 km away from the railway market. We travelled by car, so it was quite convenient for us. However, it may be difficult if you dent have your own car.
