Good example of Small town Ukraine.
Good example of Small town Ukraine.
With mix of modern and very old buildings. Cafes were all inexpensive with some new and some old.
Nice parks designed for walking and catering for young families with small kids. Streets were a mix also with some paved and some not. Tourist highlight is ancient castle and Shabo winery 15 minutes drive away by taxi.

Historically a very great city. A very impressive castle ruin. The historic city of Tyra. Everything barely big touristically opened. I can only recommend it to everyone.
With Zatoka a beach on the Black Sea is within easy reach. It is a nice place. But the beach is already at the beginning of the season with cigarettes, etc. polluted.
Shabo also belongs to the city, which is also called Akkerman by the inhabitants. It is an old name of the city. Shabo is a winegrowing region whose wine operation you can also visit.
