I have traveled many places in Ukraine and always find something interesting, but Kovel might not be interesting for tourists. The people are friendly, but there is only one museum (always closed whenever I have tried to go there), almost no good restaurants (except for Classic Restaurant), and not many activities to do. I come here each year for an event, but the city is a bit boring. I recommend taking a bus to Shatsk lakes (2 hours away).
