“Sometimes you give somewhere ten out of ten because it ticks all the boxes in terms of location, price, facilities etc. But then you find a place that makes you feel right at home as well, and you wish you could score higher than ten! Such is the case with El Aleman. We arrived after midnight after a long drive from Mendoza, and Perla greeted us with a hug. The breakfast next morning was excellent, and afterwards Perla explained the hikes and sights in the area. Even though she didn't speak much English, she still has a great ability in making herself understood. Impressed with the breakfast, we ate dinner there two nights in a row, and Bernt and Perla rustled up a feast! The rooms were clean and spacious, with a patio outside, and further seating areas in the garden. Barreal itself is a great location, amazing hikes and views of the Andes. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer.”
