“Amazing! Basically loved everything about Nirvana and Xiahe. We spent 4 nights and 5 days there and would have been happy to spend another few days there. Super relaxing, amazing food, impeccable cleanliness, soft dorm beds with 4 outlets each and practical in-wall shelves, and an incredibly welcoming and accommodating host. Plus it's super close to the monastery. Also, if you like hiking, definitely take the tour to the gorge. It's a bit pricey with one or two people (still 110% worth it in my opinion), but is certainly affordable for even modest budgets with 3 or four people. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone who stayed in Xiahe.”

“The comforting wooden house has a tremendous view of sky and mountains all around. Facilities are extraordinary. I just adore the smell of wood. It is more than just a place to rest. The once-a-lama Tibetan boss has rich stories in Tibetan culture and environmental protection. He aims to make the hostel a platform for cultural communication. He did. Don't miss the movie nights. You won't be disappointed about staying here, at least i wasn't.”
