“Having travelled around Andalucia for a number of years, seeking out hideaways in the mountains Cortijo Syrona has hands down become our favourite. This place is beautiful as it is interesting. Katharine and Richard along with their adorable animals and thoughtful touches throughout are the perfect hosts. On several occasions with previous properties we have been a little let down by the carefully angled photos of the pool. However for Cortijo Syrona the photos simply do not do it justice. The pool, alongside it's charming outside areas is large, and the loveliest we have found. Beautifully lit up by night, cooking steaks on the fabulous barbecue, accompanied by fresh veg from the local market..bliss. We can not wait to return.”

“If you are looking to spend a weekend away from the chaos of the city and the monotony of your daily routine, there is no better place to do it. The property is awesome, with a lovely bar and bbq area and the views you get from the swimming pool are just out of this world. Having a drink in the swimming pool while contemplating some of the highest peaks of monda is priceless. Talking about prices, there is no better accomodation for the money and the hosts are such a lovely couple. Highly recommended, we'll be back soon.”
