“We took a break from hiking the Camino Del Norte and picked the Parador as a location for a rest day. The hotel, grounds, restaurant and employees were all excellent! The front desk clerks were extremely helpful as was the cleaning staff. All were very nice and friendly. My wife and I had the Pilgrims Menu for lunch at the restaurant in the Tower. The food was first class and absolutely delicious. The Chef, Angel Campos, came out to the dining room and met us, asking about our Camino. We learned he has walked several Caminos himself. We also learned that Angel’s son was our waiter. We were fortunate to have both of them helping and serving us the meal! We can’t say enough good things about the Parador!”

“Excellent value for money. Check-in was a breeze. The room on the ground floor was wonderfully quiet, with roller-blinds to completely block out any light. Bed was comfortable, and a great bathroom with super water pressure! The upstairs common area was sumptuous and contained a great library of material about the area. I loved this place. Excellent value for money.”
