Other than the fact that we could not find the air conditioning control which we spotted in the morning. The room was excellent and the breakfast in the morning was good. I manged to leave my Ipad in the room and received a phone call 2 days later that they had found it buried in the bed covers. Posted it successfully to me. Top class service and we will use the hotel again as it is an ideal stopping off point to and from the channel to the med.”

“What a stunning location the apartment is in! Couldn't be more lovely! And to think, we very nearly stayed at the Ibis in Bourges! A 'stay' not to be missed, especially when Les Nuits lumiere de Bourges is taking place.... every night in July and August. The perfect start- for us, a 1 night Stop Over- to a 2 week stay in Sth West France! The eatery/ bar across from the apartment is a 'Must' too! The owner has just the 'right amount of everything' needed for such a typical French evening. The owner of the apartments father met us moment after we arrived in the peaceful little square, just beyond the cathedral and showed us round most of the 3 storey apartment- we had access to the top 2 floors. The bedrooms were light and airy. The beds- very comfortable and the bathroom/ shower area- quirky/ modern. The entire apartment was well presented and so clean! The kitchen- well equipped. The sitting room and dining room- simple, but very relaxing. A wonderful period staircase, winding round and round.... breathtaking. Very peaceful nights sleep. A more delightful alternative to a bland, modern hotel/ room! We will certainly return......A real Gem in a beautiful part of Bourges!!”
