“I was a bit worried because hotel Du Siecle is also a busy pub and located on a main street. This turned out for the best: the rooms are in a different building away from the street and are well insulated. So I was assured of a peaceful night. The hotel is nothing fancy, but more than adequate for the price. There is even a coffee and tea facility in the room. Within biking distance, there is a very nice restaurant beautifully situated at the canal, called 'Cote Jardin des Nivernais'.”

“Everything to like! We spent three days at Chez Casimir and enjoyed every minute and hope to return. Our hosts Philippe and Jessica could not have been more welcoming, kind and generous. We arrived as strangers and left as friends. The house and facilities are all tasteful and comfortable. The bathrooms are modern and the shower great. Breakfast featured excellent homemade jams. The village is also lovely and wonderfully peaceful. We are cyclists and enjoyed the many good scenic cycling options and Philippe was very helpful with advice. There was also a good and reasonably priced restaurant less than five minutes walk away. Chez Casimir has a very high score and this is more than justified. We also enjoyed one evening a table d'hote which was tasty and above all great fun.”
