“The property is located in a romantic setting with wonderful views over the river. All family members speak fluent German, Georgian, and Russian (and a little English) which was very helpful to have meaningful conversations. The dinner on the porch was very special. The owner went with us to a local fish farm (a few minutes walk away) and we were able to pick out our own fresh fish (trout). The fish was supplemented with wonderful potato, vegetables, and salad. We enjoyed wine and chacha (georgian grappa/eau-de-vie) that was produced by the owner’s family. The wines were of high quality and complexity.”
